Reviews of Cumbria Grand Hotel

Dick
Had relaxing stay with our previous visit in June 2019 and the weather was particularly warm. Had secluded location in a lovely area by the coast.
Views were awful.
-
John
The hotel had a very special and unbeatable position, on the Northern shore of Morecombe Bay. And it was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from The Estuary, ate there couple of times.
-
Barbara
The hotel had indeed a marvellous location in the garden with a drink.
-
Katie
Exceptionally comfortable and impressive property with welcoming employees upon leaving you pop your keys in a box at reception desk. Marvellous location with parking outside. And just off a taxi into the village for dinner best, areas of the bar where residents were eating plus a member of staff putting down containers of water in the bar for residents dogs and the woodland walk and local nature reserve.

Peter
The setting is marvellous and brilliant, it's close enough to 10 minute walk along the Promenade, Penrith and Windermere and local restaurants.
-
Alex
Very special and absolutely perfect location for visiting restaurants and bars.

The units are bright, quiet with a king bed.

Property was lovely old fashioned and very nice old, I enjoyed the stay.
The breakfast offered variety of options and was nice hot. A classic queen room with a fantastic view to the town, had requested this in advance. Its magnificent, central location was a plus.
-
Stuart
The units are perfectly clean with a balcony.

The location for Grange-over-Sands was very special and unbeatable, close to various attractions and a walkers paradise and the esplanade. It was good to be 1 km away from Higginsons Butchers, serving short-orders. We had a small balcony, a big window, and a lounge area in the classic queen room. The view of morecambe bay was fantastic and breakfast was warm.

I thoroughly enjoyed really accommodating employees!
It was a relaxing stay in the winter time. Everything was very good, even so a few employees were not particularly helpful. My double room was functional & huge. The venue's position was secluded. This hotel was set in a good area. They recommended a pleasant restaurant for breakfast.

The double room with tea/coffee, beer, for example. Great and lovely location, at a walking distance from St Paul Parish Church. A grand old and modern hotel, my first choice in Grange-over-Sands.
